Fenelon Place Elevator – April 1
Also known as the Fourth Street Elevator and the world’s shortest, steepest, scenic railway this funicular railway is 296 feet in length. At the top, you will find magnificent views of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
American Lady Yacht Cruises – April 20
Located on the waterfront of Catfish Charlie’s Restaurant. Sightseeing, lunch, happy hour cruises, dinner cruises, wedding events, group parties, theme cruises, and private charters available, weather permitting.
Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens (Welcome Center & Gift Shop) – May 1
The Dubuque Arboretum Botanical Gardens is home to a Japanese garden and pond with koi fish to feed, Formal English, Herb, Rose, and Hosta gardens as well as collections of dwarf conifers.
Berning Acres – May 2
Family-run dairy near East Dubuque, IL whose goal is to show you what life is like on a modern dairy farm.
Dubuque Farmers Market (Season Opener) – May 4
The Dubuque Farmers’ Market has been located in the Upper Main District around City Hall since 1858. The market stretches over three city blocks on Iowa Street and extends up and down 11th, 12th, and 13th street.
Eagle Point Park – May 4
Eagle Point Park is one of the most outstanding parks in the Midwest. 164 acres overlook the Mississippi River and Lock + Dam #11, providing a spectacular Tri-State view of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
