Stop by Convivium Urban Farmstead and fuel up for the day. This unique location is home to a restaurant, event center, and urban community gardens on their property as well as nearby neighbors. Voted one of the 10 Best breakfast places in Dubuque by Travel Dubuque's social media followers.

Next, head towards Proving Grounds, an 8-mile mountain bike park with Blue & Black trails, a beginner loop, and a small skills park featuring six wooden features. (Good to know: Proving Grounds was named after the area of land once used by John Deere Dubuque Works to ‘prove’ and test equipment.)

Take a break and relax over lunch at Copper Kettle. This restaurant offers elevated pub fare and craft beers and is located near a former historic structure that once housed the Dubuque Brewing and Malting Company. (Good to know: This restaurant recently secured a spot on the 10 Best Game Day Spots list.)

Schuster's Pumpkin Patch

For the adventure seeker, a pumpkin patch may seem tame. What if we told you they have a pumpkin blaster? This cannon was added in 2015 and allows you to shoot pumpkins out at targets in a nearby field.

Jubeck New World Brewing

After an afternoon of cannon blasts and maybe a wagon ride or two, visit Jubeck New World Brewing. This local favorite is a microbrewery started as a kickstarter and has continued to give back to the community that got it started.

Wrap up the evening next door to Jubeck’s at Oolong’s Asian Cuisine. This restaurant takes its inspiration from Thai and Vietnamese flavors. From pho to curry and everything in between, this is a must-try while in Dubuque.

After flying through the sky on ziplines, experience panoramic fall views on foot. The Mines of Spain State Park features 1,437 acres with 20 miles of trails for hiking. With paths perfect for beginners all the way up to experts it's the perfect place for a outdoor adventure.
