Cruise the 26 mile Heritage Trail from Dyersville to Dubuque this season. Ride through historic mining and milling towns on this flat crushed limestone trail, perfect for any skill level of cyclist. Looking for a longer trek? Dubuque’s extensive system of paved bike paths connect with the Heritage Trail. Explore the historic Millwork District and Downtown or venture up the bluffs for a true endurance ride. There is plenty to explore throughout the 56 miles of trails where Iowa started.

Bee Branch Project

A leisurely path.

The Bee Branch trail system connects to attractions on Dubuque’s six miles of riverfront and to the Mines of Spain trail system. It also links to hundreds of miles of bike trails north and south along the Mississippi River and west to the Field of Dreams on the Heritage Trail.
