Dubuque's newest burger spot is coming in hot! Coming in at the number one spot on our list is Baraboo's on Main. Located on Historic Main Street in Downtown Dubuque this burger spot is a must stop. Check their Facebook page for burger specials like The Goat Burger, Fried Pickle Burger, Cheese Curd Bacon Burger, or Bacon Blue Burger.

Dog House Lounge

Nothing satisfies like a burger & a cold brew. Taking our number two spot in the Dog House Lounge. Known for their famous flame-grilled Carmichael Burger this stop is the perfect place for a hearty burger paired with draft beer.

Thumser's 19th Hole

Our next spot is worth the short drive. Our number three spot is right across the Mississippi in East Dubuque at Thumser's 19th Hole. Serving up ground fresh daily burgers with a recipe almost 3-decades in the making there's no burger quite like Thumser's. Don't forget to customize it with their build-a-burger style menu.

Paul's Tavern

There's no Dubuque classic quite like a burger from Paul's! Deemed a Dubuque must-stop and local favorite it's no wonder they took our fourth spot. If you haven't heard of Paul's Tavern, it's time to get familiar. Initially opened in 1948, this one-of-a-kind bar has been cooking burgers on its Broilator countertop broiler for over 70 years, and customers keep coming back for more. While the menu is small and the seats are limited, the burgers are well worth the stop. Did we mention the big game trophies that hang on the wall? Told you it was one-of-a-kind!

7 Hills Brewing Company

Rounding out the top half of our list is 7 Hills Brewing Company. With multiple locations in the Dubuque area, 7 Hills is a great stop for a quick bite or cold brew. Serving up specialty brisket burgers with signature craft beers, 7 Hills is a must stop next time you're in the area.

The newest additional to Dubuque's Historic Millwork District, this flashy eatery is like nothing you've experience in Dubuque before. In addition to their signature B&V Burger they serve chef-inspired dishes and hand-crafted cocktails all paired with music and fun.
