Day One

Mississippi River Cruise
Continue your exploration of the river on a scenic happy hour or sightseeing cruise aboard the American Lady, narrated by the captain himself.
Historic Progressive Dinner
Get a true taste of Dubuque and experience our colorful culture, rich history, and authentic cuisine when you embark on the Historic Progressive Dinner. Let the city’s most knowledgeable guides help you navigate your way and open doors to a unique dining experience at three historic sites. Dubuque’s Progressive Dinner is the perfect recipe for a fun, fresh and successful group event.
Day Two
Hike area trails and end the day with brews and blues.
Julien Dubuque Monument
Fresh air, sunshine and a stunning view. Visit our founder’s memorial for a peaceful and memorable start to your morning.
Swiss Valley Nature Preserve
Visit this nature preserve situated in the valleys of Dubuque along Catfish Creek. Choose from one of their many group offerings including Monarch Tagging, Fall Colors along Heritage Trail, Conquer Your Fears or Maple Syruping.
Flatted Fifth Blues & BBQ
Just 30 minutes south of Dubuque and along the Mississippi River sits a 170-year-old grist mill that has the tastiest southern food around. Perfect for groups of all ages!

Before departing for home, check out one of the area’s newest breweries that was started by four passionate and local beer lovers. Make sure to take a walk along the scenic Riverwalk and explore this beautiful area.
