MLB is coming to #WhereIowaStarted
MLB made a huge announcement that a game between the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox will be played in a stadium to be constructed at the iconic Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa. This game will be held August 13, 2020. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting project!

2018 Economic Impact Report is Released
The annual Economic Impact of Travel on Iowa Counties report has been released by the Iowa Economic Development Authority. Dubuque County numbers have seen an increase in the overall impact to the county. $365.75 million dollars in travel related expenditures were recorded, an increase of nearly 4% in the last year.
Get Involved in Sister Cities
Did you know The City of Dubuque has three established Sister City relationships? Dornbirn, Austria; Pyatigorsk, Russia; and Handan, China. In August of 2018, Travel Dubuque and the Sister City Committee helped host 13 Chinese delegates from Handan, China. During the visit, officials from both cities discussed ways to keep growing their relationship. Since then, the Sister City Committee has been striving to create community engagement opportunities such as special events and educational opportunities.
