Tourism Reboot Grant
Rebooting Travel in the Dubuque Area
National Travel and Tourism Week is an annual tradition for the U.S. travel community. It’s a time when travel and tourism professionals across the country unite to celebrate the value travel holds for our economy, businesses, and personal well-being.
In Dubuque, it is celebrated by highlighting the businesses and people who make travel possible. Following the COVID-19 pandemic and a tough year for the tourism industry, Travel Dubuque and Community Partners are giving back with a Tourism Reboot Grant to help jump start the hospitality sector.
This grant is open to small businesses in the tourism & hospitality sector in Dubuque County to apply. Funds will be available for at least 20 businesses in the amount of $1,000 and must be used for marketing (social media, brochures, ad placement, etc.) their small business to travelers outside of a 50-mile radius. The goal is to generate promotion and recognition of the grant recipients, as well as help stimulate the local tourism economy through general awareness of what Dubuque has to offer a visitor.

Grants Awarded: June 14, 2021
