Fall Weekend Guide for Friends
Traveling to the Dubuque area with friends this fall and looking for an itinerary of things to do? Look no further.
Pick and choose your favorite stops or visit them all.
Saturday
Day one
First stop...Farmers' Market. Start the day at Iowa's longest-running Farmer's Market and grab a bite for breakfast at the Adobo's Food Truck and try their infamous burrito. (Good to know: Market is open 7 am to noon Saturday, May through October.) (? Pet Friendly)

Cable Car Square
Spend the rest of the morning walking through this historic nook filled with shopping, historic buildings, oh, and the world’s shortest steepest railway, the Fenelon Place Elevator! (? Pet Friendly)

Stone Cliff Winery
Take in the history of the building, enjoy a bite, or sip on locally made wine, and take a stroll along the Mississippi River. (Good to know: Stone Cliff is located in the Port of Dubuque right next to the Mississippi Riverwalk and Art on the River.) (? Pet Friendly)

Czipar's Apple Orchard
What’s a fall weekend getaway without an apple orchard. Located just outside of Dubuque, this family-run stop is home to their famous apple cider donuts. (Good to know: Just a half-mile down the road is Schuster’s Pumpkin Patch.) (? Pet Friendly)

Moracco Supper Club
One of our favorite places to dine is our area’s supper clubs. Enjoy a local favorite and be sure to try out an Old Fashioned while there.
Sunday
Day Two
Rise, shine, and dine at Inspire Cafe located in the Millwork District. Enjoy a latte, bite, or the relaxing atmosphere.

Midwest Girl
Get a new fall hoodie that shows off your Midwesty pride. This store has been featured in Midwest Living and is always worth the trip. (Good to know: Also check out nearby shops Vivie Boutique and Classy and Chic.)

Street Art Selfies
Did you know Dubuque is home to nearly 50 murals throughout the downtown? See how many you can spot and tag us in a selfie @traveldubuque or using #whereiowastarted. (? Pet Friendly)

Lot One
Want a bite before you hit the road. Try out Lot One for a variety of craft beers, a full menu, and a bit of fun.
