Colorblind Viewer at Eagle Point Park
Brought to you by Travel Dubuque Community Partners
Dubuque is Where Iowa Started
It’s where tree-lined limestone bluffs meet the bustling Mississippi River. Where the quirk of the world’s shortest, steepest, railway is matched by the vibrant views found at the top. It’s where historic buildings are adorned with colorful street art and where the sunsets are always spectacular. Discover Dubuque for yourself with this colorblind viewer.
How it works.
Located at the 164 acre Eagle Point Park, this ADA accessible, colorblind viewer is outfitted with Enchroma® lenses to enable people with red-green colorblindness to see a broader range of clear, vibrant color. Sharing the beauty of #WhereIowaStarted in its full spectrum of wonder.
Where to find it.
Eagle Point Park is located on Dubuque’s north end in the aptly named Eagle Point District. Entrance into the park (open May - October) costs $1 per car. The ADA accessible viewer is located near the Eagle’s View Pavilion and offers nearby handicap parking and a level, paved, sidewalk.
