We will supply you with a listing of area properties for your event. These properties will submit bids to Travel Dubuque for your convention and we will compile to submit to you.
Assistance with arrangements for transportation may be provided by Travel Dubuque.
Welcome Address Assistance
We are happy to provide your group with name badges with your delegate listing with a 2 week notice.
We are happy to arrange site visits to the properties you are interested in hosting your convention or meeting at. We are also happy to offer a complimentary site visit of the entire community.
Travel Dubuque will be glad to assist with planning and registration for conferences of 150 or more.
The Dubuque Convention & Visitors Bureau will be glad to plan for local dignitaries to provide a welcome address to your group.
With 2 weeks notice, Travel Dubuque will provide your group with Welcome Bags that are filled with local brochures, maps and information with special discounts to local establishments.
Travel Dubuque offers complimentary promotional material to help showcase the Dubuque region to your event attendees.
We would be happy to assist with your mailing costs when informing your members about the meeting or conference in Dubuque.

Catfish Charlies, casual dining with an outdoor deck; Stone Cliff Winery, located in the Star Brewery Complex which also has outdoor season seating; Tony Roma’s located at the Grand Harbor Resort & Waterpark views of Mississippi River along with outdoor seating; Dubuque Marina & Yardam has a full-service marina and riverfront bar; Ice Harbor Galley located in the Port of Dubuque is situated on the Mississippi River Museum next to Dubuque River Rides. Many of the riverboats also have dining on board. Off Shore Bar & Grill in Bellevue, Iowa (only 25 minutes outside of Dubuque) also is located along the river.
There are currently 3 hotels with views of the Mississippi River; Grand Harbor Resort & Waterpark, Hotel Julien Dubuque & Hilton Garden Inn. The Hancock House and Four Mounds are 2 Bed & Breakfasts with Mississippi River views.

- National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium has their famous “Dining with the Fish” program where you can do a cocktail reception or a full sit down meal! Great atmosphere
- St. Mary’s Church at Steeple Square. This church has been renovated into a 400 person event center and the history and beauty of it being the first catholic church in the community is still very much there.
- Hotel Julien Dubuque. Have you ever held an event where Al Capone once stayed? Well, you can do it in Dubuque!
- Millwork Ballroom in the Historic Millwork District. History meets modern day amenities. It’s just a cool space.
