Recover America’s Missing Children

Dubuque will be participating in the upcoming season of Fireball Run Adventurally®, filming in Dubuque September 25, 2017. Each team participating in Fireball Run is assigned a missing child from their home region to help find. Over the course 10 seasons and thousands of flyers distributed, this campaign has sided in the recovery of 44 missing children.

The Dubuque team comprised of HR Cook and Tom Rauen, has been tasked with finding missing child Timmothy Pitzen.

How can you Help

Timmothy has been missing since 2011 and was last seen in Aurora, IL at age 6. Six years since Timmothy went missing, we are asking you all to help us find him. The Dubuque Team is asking for your help sharing our missing child poster in any way you can.

Post it to your Facebook page, print it off and hang it up at work, or help us pass them out on the road. Any little bit can help us find Timmothy.

Filmed in real time over a span of 8 days and 2,000 miles, this series features a trivia pursuit road rally competition uncovering America’s most obscure places and historic artifacts.

Dubuque, Iowa will be a featured community in the 2017 season along with Eau Claire, WI; Burlington, IA; Ft. Dodge, IA; Yankton, SD; Pierre, SD; and Rapid City, SD.

Help Us Celebrate

The public is invited to attend a celebration at the Town Clock as teams wrap up the day and race across Dubuque’s finish line on Monday, September 25, 2017.

Join us for a FREE Child ID Event on September 25, 2 P.M. – 6 P.M. at the Town Clock.. Parents receive a kit containing necessary information about your child/ren such as digital photo, digital video, teethprints, finger prints, and DNA swab should your child become missing. Parents will be asked to sign a permission form for participation. Forms are available in advance by request email vicki.gassman@hillcrest-fs.org. This event is run in conjunction with the filming of the Factual TV Show the Fireball Run.

The purpose of this ID event is so that parents have their children’s DNA, fingerprints, and information available at a moment’s notice. This program is compatible with Amber Alert and all the parent has to do in the event that their child has gone missing is to hand the CD over to the police and they can transfer all of the information into the posters. Time is of the essence when a child goes missing and every second counts.
