In honor of Black History Month, The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium will host a special traveling poster exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution that highlights the African American experience throughout history.   The exhibit, entitled “A Place for All People: Introducing the National Museum of African American History and Culture” will run 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday-Sunday, Feb. 1-28, 2017. The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium will allow visitors to shake off the winter blues and step into Cajun Country this February. The Museum & Aquarium Store will host its annual “Night in N’awlins” party from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 23, in the National River Center (East building).
