Managing finances as a young professional can be challenging, but YPD has just the luncheon for you. On July 16, Michelle Kennicott from Consumer Credit Counseling of Dubuque will cover a variety of topics regarding your Financial Freedom. During the luncheon, you’ll learn practical tips about budgeting and wise spending practices. A question and answer segment will conclude the luncheon which will give you the chance to ask Michelle about things that affect your financial freedom.



The luncheon will take place at Catfish Charlie’s in the Dubuque Yacht Basin from 11:45 am to 1 pm. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. RSVP no later than Monday, July 14.

Looking to get out of the house and do something different this summer? Join YPD for an evening on the Mississippi River on Thursday, July 17. YPD Cruise and Connect offers the perfect opportunity to take in the beautiful views from the American Lady River Boat while getting to know other young professionals in a relaxed setting.

The American Lady departs from the Dubuque Yacht Basin at 5:30 pm and the cruise will last approximately two hours. Not able to make the cruise? Meet at 7 pm at Catfish Charlie’s to network on the deck with fellow YPs and welcome back the river cruisers.
