Bald Eagle Watch– January 21, 2017

Get up close with these majestic birds of prey at the Dubuque Audobon Society’s Annual Bald Eagle Watch, a Free Family Event. Meet the winged ambassadors from the region’s raptor centers and watch the eagles hangout at their favorite winter fishing spot, Lock & Dam #11.

Iowa Winter Games– January 28-29, 2017

Bring home the gold at the Iowa Winter Games. Take in this Olympic-style event encompassing 16 different sports and their athletes from throughout the state of Iowa. From alpine skiing, indoor soccer, a road race, and even pickleball, everyone will have an opportunity to watch their favorite sport as these Iowans compete in a little friendly competition.
