A Merry Millwork Marketplace

“This is our newest family tradition and it was a magical one. The millwork district was bustling with the Christmas spirit during the outdoor Merry Millwork Market. Carolers were singing, lights were twinkling and the hot chocolate was delicious! My favorite part of the marketplace though was the opportunity to purchase some unique handcrafted gifts for my family and friends.”

Mistletones presents SNOWBIZ®

Each year I get the pleasure of welcoming motor coach groups at the annual SNOWBIZ® performance located at the Hotel Julien. If you are looking for an event to really get you in the Christmas spirit this is it. Great vocals paired with a cup of holiday cheer and delicious meal make for a memorable day.

Nativities Around the World

“A hidden Christmas gem we have right here in the Tri-States is the Nativities from Around the World display at Sinsinawa Mound. It’s pretty amazing to walk through over 50 different examples of nativities from throughout the world. Probably one of my favorites is the hand-crafted nativity from Haiti. It really is a must experience while here.”

Reflections in the Park

“One of my favorite holiday traditions here is to go through Reflections in the Park with my family. To see the beauty of the displays through my daughter’s eye’s is magical. From the second we arrive in the park, turn on the Christmas music and get our candy cane to the time we stroll through the end, the time, energy and efforts that the volunteers put into making the park a place of beauty. is simply amazing!”

A Christmas Performance

"My pick for a holiday performance this year was the Duhawkappelas from Loras College. I was amazed at the talent, pitch, and energy of all the vocalist from Loras. A Cappella fans you are in for a treat if you book this group!"
